Mixing

Flat rate: $30 per song

This is the best option if you already have stems/tracks ready to be mixed and mastered.

Custom rate: $30 per hour

This is the best option if you want a completely customized experience.

How it works

  • You send us your audio files (stems and/or tracks), and tell us more about your goals, such as “I want to sound like this reference track”.
  • We analyze the material and let you know our initial thoughts and findings.
  • We send you the first draft for approval.
  • You let us know what you think, and provide any suggestions, such as “make the bass louder”, or “make the auto-tuning sound less obvious”, etc.
  • We send you the final draft for approval.

If you are not completely satisfied, you don’t owe us anything!

If you are satisfied, then we collect payment and send you the final product, which includes both the full stems/tracks and a draft master.

Requirements

You must send a high-quality lossless audio file, or the entire project folder. Please do not send MP3, M4A, AAC, or any other lossy file formats. Please send the entire project folder, not just the .als file for Ableton Live projects, nor just the .flp file for FL Studio projects, for example.

Notice

Mixing and mastering cannot fix every issue! Sometimes we can work miracles. Sometimes you will need to re-record a take, or send an earlier version of an audio file without any effects, in order to get rid of issues at the source. Some problems can be repaired with state of the art tools such as RX, Spectralayers, and AI/ML denoise models. However, such processing can create new artifacts, so it’s better to send clean audio files that do not require extensive manual repairs.

If your project requires significant repairs, we may advise you to fix some of the issues before we can begin working on your project. We do not want to take your money just to give you second-rate results, and we will do our best to work with you to get your project into a good state before the mixing and mastering processes. We also offer paid lessons and one-on-one tutoring if you need help ensuring that your projects are always in a good state prior to mixing and mastering.
